Prepare for labour and enjoy your pregnancy with yogabirth classes. Teachers run classes in most parts of the country for pregnant women. The classes are on a weekly basis for you to attend from early pregnancy right through to birth. The classes are open to you whether it is your first or subsequent baby.

Many teachers also run Birth Preparation courses or workshops where you can take your partner/husband/birth partner. These classes can help you both learn more about labour and birth, and how he/she can support you.

Many teachers also run Post-natal classes which include yoga based exercises which are safe and adapted for the post-natal period. You take your baby along to the classes and some teachers include baby massage in a 2-hour class.

All classes are run as informal groups where discussion and support play a vital role. In these days when most of us do not have family close by it can be a wonderful way to meet people and learn from each other and share the experience of being pregnant and becoming parents.
